H1N1 Matters (updated 27 June 09, 11am)

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Please be informed of the measures taken by the school to manage the H1N1 situation (click here to download the Letter to Parent/Guardian)

For a pupil to be classified as unwell, the trigger temperature is 37.6 deg Cel instead of 38.1 deg Cel.

The H1N1 affected countries are: UK, USA, Canada, Panama, Dominican Republic, Spain, Japan, Australia, Thailand, Philippines, Chile, Mexico, Argentina, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia and New Zealand.
If your child/ward has returned from any of the above countries, he/she will be issued Leave of Absence (LOA) for 7 days from the date of arrival to Singapore.

DO NOT REPORT TO SCHOOL if the child/ward is on LOA.

Please note that with effect from 29 Jun 2009 (Mon), only the Main (IN) Gate will be opened, the Back Gate and Side Gates will remain closed until further notice.  If you are driving your child/ward to school and dropping him/her off near the IN gate, please exercise care and caution for other pedestrians and road users.

All pupils are required to go through the Screening Station at the Foyer and to declare his/her travel history to the staff.  Pupils who have travelled to an affected country, and yet in school, will be directed away from the main pupil body for further necessary actions to be taken to ensure the well-being of all others in the school community.
There will be a Temperature Taking Exercise immediately after the Flag Raising Ceremony and a second exercise after recess.  Please ensure that your child/ward has a working Oral Digital Thermometer and the Pupil's Handbook with him/her at all time.

The Travel Declaration form must be submitted to the Form Teacher on 29 June 2009 (Mon).  Pupils who are on LOA are required to post the Travel Declaration form back to the school (click here to download the Travel Declaration form).

All CCAs will be scaled down until further notice.
